I just finished watching Cooked, a documentary by Michael Pollan. Cooked is an interesting and beautiful look at food that discusses ages old methods of preparing food that nourishes body and soul. It looks at ways to reclaim connection to both our food and ourselves.

Each episode looks both at indigenous and modern methods of cooking; how much of what we, as humans, have learned and passed down about food preparation is harmonious with nature. It also looks at how modern ways of cooking may be inferior and harmful to health.

While the documentary itself can be found at Netflix, I've included the trailer from YouTube.
